These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the connectsun website at connectsun.co and the related text-message and chat experience (together, the "Service"), operated by connectsun ("connectsun," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
connectsun is a referral service. We help homeowners who are interested in residential solar connect with an independent, licensed solar installer. connectsun is not a solar installer, contractor, lender, or utility, and we do not design, sell, finance, or install solar systems. Any estimates, ranges, or examples shown in the Service are general illustrations only — they are not quotes, offers, guarantees of savings, or promises that any particular system is suitable for your home. Pricing, system size, financing, and final terms come only from the installer you choose to work with, under a separate agreement between you and that installer.
Calls and text messages
When you ask us to connect you with an installer, you agree that connectsun and the licensed installer we route you to may contact you at the phone number you provide — including by automated dialing technology, prerecorded or artificial voice, and SMS/MMS text messages — about residential solar. Consent to these messages is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of texts, or HELP for help. You can also reach us at hello@connectsun.co. Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You agree to provide accurate information, to use the Service only for your own genuine interest in residential solar, and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
No warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information presented is accurate or complete. connectsun is not responsible for the acts, omissions, products, services, or workmanship of any installer.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, connectsun and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Florida have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, and the "Effective date" above will reflect the latest version. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
